History
Littlest Angels Preschool was established in 1996 as a quality, caring preschool. Since that time, Littlest Angels has grown significantly from two original classes to now offering six preschool classes that range in age from two to five years. Through this growth, we have continued our tradition of providing a warm, loving and nurturing preschool that truly enriches our community.

Philosophy
The purpose of our school is to demonstrate the love of God to little children. We believe that each child is a valuable and unique individual. In age-appropriate ways, the children learn how special they are in the eyes of God through participation in weekly chapel time with a Bible story, songs and prayers.
We believe it is the pre-school’s responsibility to support, encourage and nurture the intellectual, social, emotional, creative, and physical development of each child. It is our goal to help create a life-long positive attitude for each child!
We believe that the school, as well as the family, must be sensitive to the social and personal skills that encourage children to accept responsibility for their behavior and become caring individuals. We generate an atmosphere in which compassion, understanding, respect and tolerance for others are carefully woven into the daily pattern of living and learning together.
Littlest Angels, Bethany Lutheran Preschool welcomes all children! It does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, ethnic or national origin, physical or mental disability in the administration of it’s admission policies.

Our Staff
Our staff is a group of highly trained and experienced teachers who bring a wealth of love, energy, and dedication to their students. Each teacher is supported by at least one assistant. Our teachers and assistants work together as a team, led by fully credentialed director, Kathy Stinson.
Kathy believes in teamwork and strives to encourage teachers, assistants and parents to work in partnership so that each child can be all that they can be!

Programs
2 Year-Old Program
9:00 a.m. to Noon

9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Children may enroll for 2, 3, or 5 days per week.

8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Extended-Care
1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
These two programs are available for children ages 3-5. This service must be pre-arranged with 24 hours advance notice.
Parents whose children are enrolled from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. are required to help co-op four (4) hours per month in their child’s classroom.
Childhood is a time of discovery and adventure! Littlest Angels provides a developmentally appropriate program for the children. We have a theme-based curriculum. The themes are changed monthly and include new books, toys, manipulatives, puzzles, and crafts. Our curriculum builds upon what children know and are able to do to consolidate their learning and to promote their attainment of new concepts and skills. There is an increased emphasis on academics for our four and five-year-old students so that they are prepared for kindergarten.
Our daily schedule has been thoughtfully planned to provide a balance between structured and non-structured activities. These activities include: Arrival and Greeting, Free Choice Time, Circle Time (theme-related stories, songs, finger plays, puppets), Outdoor Time, Snack Time and Music.

Music Enrichment
Bethany’s Minister of Music, Deborah Sutherland, provides a weekly "introduction to music" for our four oldest classes. She uses a variety of musical styles, songs, instruments and props to help children gain a greater understanding of musical concepts. Deborah is also founding Director of the Resound! After School Music Enrichment Program for elementary school students in grades K-5. After beginning their music instruction at Littlest Angels, graduates are encouraged to join Resound! where they will learn to read music notation and gain confidence in music performance.
